Not sure which
transmission?
MONSTER TRANSMISSION FINDER
Step 1 of 7
What make is your vehicle?
We’ll start by narrowing you into the correct GM, Ford, or Dodge/Ram transmission family.
What best describes your vehicle?
This keeps us from, for example, putting a 68RFE on a Ram 1500 that actually runs an 8-speed.
What year is your vehicle?
We’ll map your year into the correct transmission era.
What engine are you running?
Options shown are filtered by your make + vehicle type + year.
Don’t see your exact engine? Pick “I’m not sure / engine swap.”
What drivetrain?
We’ll prioritize 2WD vs 4x4 coverage.
How do you use the vehicle?
Use case + HP tier determine your recommended build.
About how much horsepower?
Rough guess is fine — higher HP can override use-case.
Your Monster match
Based on your answers, here’s the build level and family you should be shopping.

Why Ford Owners Choose Monster

  • Build tiers mapped to Ford platforms—AOD/E4OD, 4R70/75, 4R100/5R110, 6R80/6R140, and 10R80—so you don’t buy more (or less) than you need.
  • Every unit is end-of-line dyno validated for consistent shift quality and temperature control before it leaves our facility.
  • Coverage you can rely on—up to 6 years, unlimited miles—backed by real techs, not scripts.
  • Clear install docs and core return process, plus fast ship times to minimize downtime.

Which tier fits my Ford?

Stock power or commuter duty → RoadReady. Daily/towing with light tune → StreetMonster. Street builds with tires/gearing that add load → SportMonster. Competition or big-power setups → TrackMonster.

Is a torque converter part of the package?

Yes. We include a matched converter because stall, lockup, and efficiency are critical to drivability and longevity on Ford applications.

Programming & electronics—anything special for Ford?

Plan for a full reprogram/relearn. 6R80/10R80 often require strategy file updates and an adaptive drive cycle; Super Duty units benefit from a proper cooler flush and line inspection.

What maintenance is recommended on install?

Always flush/replace the cooler and lines, verify correct fluid, and complete the adaptive learn. Skipping these steps risks contamination and voids coverage.

How does the warranty work?

Warranty length varies by tier, with options up to 6 years / unlimited miles. See product pages for exact terms and what’s required to maintain coverage.

*Horsepower ratings are guidance only; vehicle setup (weight, tires, gearing, tuning) affects capacity. When unsure, step up a tier.
