NP-229J Transfer Cases

Like most of its series, the NP229 is an aluminum cast transfer case, though as an upgrade from its previous model, was given the ability to work as a full time system. The 229 was also part of the Selc-Trac system, which has a two wheel drive mode for saving fuel as well as an easy to access two wheel to four wheel system via a switch on the dashboard. This case can be found on Jeeps such as the Cherokee, Wagoneer, and Grand Wagoneer.
