Mega Monster Transmissions
Engineered to Dominate, the 4L80E Mega Monster transmission is tough enough to withstand the rigors of even the toughest street machines delivering tire-spinning shifts race after race. It is ideal for vehicles powered by engines producing up to 550 horsepower using pump gasoline. Equipped with a Manual/Automatic valve body, most units allow you to manually shift the vehicle into each gear change or, by placing it in the drive position, remain fully automatic. In either mode, you get a racetrack shift that bangs through the gears giving you all the right to say "Eat My Shift!". When you use the manual gear selection feature, the Mega Monster upshifts and downshifts when you move the shift lever, please note, in order to have complete control of the RPM shift timing you must upgrade to a full manual valvebody. When you select the normal drive position, the transmission retains its firm, automatic shifts for the ease of driving you look for in an automatic transmission.

Got a 4L80E transmission from Monster, thing came in great, packaged well. Very clean, actually kind of cool looking. Went in perfectly, everything hooked right up like it's supposed to, everything was good. Packaging was excellent and let me tell you pulled about 8500 lbs with my Suburban 2500 last weekend, gonna do it again this weekend. And no problems, smooth power, good crisp shifts. Hey, there. i just wanted to talk about my 2003 GMC yukon XL that I recently bought earlier this year. It was running great until about 500 miles and my transmission started slipping, so i've been looking around and I heard about Monster transmission, and that they have very great service. I gave them a call and ordered myself a transmission, it came in 3 weeks. The transmission is great, it's flawless, shifts perfectly, everything that I wanted. i couldn't ask for anything else. here's a video of my car taking off, I hope you guys enjoy it.

I went for the factory shift kit because its just my DD but it shifts better than my old one ever did. The best part is it has reverse, which my old one did not... I like the fact that they test it before they ship it. Very reassuring AND it has some residual ATF in it saving a little money from an already expensive project. Id do it the same if I had to and definately reccomend Monster trans. My only complaint is the lead time, 3~4 weeks would've sucked if I didn't have forward gears left. If my trans was a total loss I may have gone elsewhere to get up and running sooner. Ill put 5 stars but should be 4 because of lead time. Overall a good experience.

I installed it into my 1991 RV 1 ton van. It''s been about 3 months now and, to this day, I haven''t had a single problem or leak. As far as needed any information, Monster Transmission has been very polite in providing me with anything I needed to know about my transmission. The day I needed to send my core back, I just called them and they came and picked it up that same day. It was awesome. There was no core charge on my purchase. It was just right to the point. I also bout a Monster Transmission kit for a 700R SS. It is an extraordinary kit and it''s very simple for me. I didn''t have not one problem with it. With that being said, if you''re interested in a transmission, I would like to recommend Monster Transmission. I had no problems with the delivery or pickup. I am a Monster Transmission customer for life!

I had ordered a 4L80 a few months ago. And I'm currently in the process of installing it. I had a few flex plate issues that I called a few months ago on. Still waiting on mine so don't know yet. All I can say is that I got a call from Tom that works there. He asked me to look and see if my transmission had a bolt dead center on the bell housing. I don't know I'm disabled I looked & couldn't see. So I called the Chevrolet service department then the parts department finally the told me no I called Tom back he told me you need to have a mechanic look so I did the mechanic said there is a top dead center bolt hole on the bell housing.but no bolt in it. I had a local transm ission shop build it before he must have left out one. GO FIGURE!!! Now you see one of the reasons I called Monster transmission. You can't trust nobody!!! So I hope Tom gets me a good transmission built so I can flaunt it around & tell everyone else who I got it from. I will tell you I am worried. I got to have my truck running all the time because I can't walk good. --So Thanks Tom for calling me to make sure. I do worry a lot.

Thank you for making a fantastic transmission! I had a young man who is pretty much an expert on all of it look at it. He said it was the easiest transmission he has ever put it. My truck is a 1966 K10 Fleetside with Factory 4WD and A/C. It is number 620 that came off that line in St. Louis on February 1966. It is a sweet machine and I wanted the best transmission for what I consider to be the best truck. Eventually I''m hoping to put a 383 Stroker in it and that''s why I ended up buying a heavy duty tranny. We really like it. We are in the tweaking stage right now, getting everything all tweaked out on it. The truck is like a minature tank. It weight about 5600 pounds and this transmission just absolutely sets it off. It has brought the old boy back to life again. It had 30,000 miles on it when I bought it and it''s probably going to be the last pickup I ever buy. And with this transmission I bought from you guys, I''m guessing it''s probably going to be in it until I''m gone. Thanks a bunch!
