I have an 86 1008 military truck. It has a 6.2 Diesel engine and turbo 400 trans. I plan to put a 6.5 turbo diesel in it and would like to use a 700R4 because of the axle gear ratio. It has a New Process 208 transfer case. My question is are the turbo400 and the 700R4 the same length from the engine to the transfer case mount. THANK YOU JOHN HERRING

Hi. I have a 1973 Chevy G30 van with TH350. I want to change to 700R4. Will I have to cut drive shaft, also can I use existing transmission mount. Thanks

Hi Dennis, You will definitely have to cut the drive shaft. As for the mount, you may be able to use it, but you will have to put a notch in it. If you have any other questions feel free to give us a call at 800-708-0087. Thanks!
