AXODE Transmission

The AXOD-E was launched in 1991 as an upgrade to the AXOD with electronic controls added in to improve the overall quality. Features include having the shifting and the controls for the torque converter integrated into the electronic control module for a smoother shift, something that can be seen on the Taurus, for instance.
