This is a heavy duty multi-clutch billet torque converter rated up to 1,000 ft.lbs. torque made for Diesel only. The converter will contain thrust bearings in all major load areas, if appropriate, to add durability and longevity to the unit in applications including towing, hauling, snow plows, motor homes, and other recreational vehicles.

It's vital for the torque converters front cover to be a strong portion as it is the main link between the converter and your motor. A stock converter simply uses a stamped steel that could bend or warp with high heat under a large load. Monster Transmission doesn't use a billet ring or disc we use a full forged billet aluminum for maximum strength that is machined to precise specs.

When trying to haul a heavy load, your stock clutch can slip during the lock up mode. This slipping can cause excessive wear and tear to your converter and transmission. Monster Transmission's torque converter clutch surfaces are raised as well as being lined with a special carbon material that is heat resistant and much better than the stock paper based material. The raised clutch surface area allows for a stronger lockup and will keep you with safe line pressures.

With more efficient oil flow Monster Transmission's custom stator and brazed turbine blades are strategically designed to speed up and smooth out oil flow throughout the torque converter. By doing this the cleaner flow of oil will reduce friction, causing less heat and wear on your converter. This allows the torque converter to run at a cooler temperature and increase power.
