700R4 Rebuild Kit, Mega Monster-In-A-Box: 1987-93 Top Product

Overall the quality of the kit is great. I did have a few issues with my order however. In addition to the kit, I also ordered both front and rear planetary gear sets, input ring gear, and input sun gear. Everything came in a very timely manor, but I got a reaction sun gear with my kit instead. I did check back on my receipt, and sure enough it was a packing issue. Also I would like to say I don't really like the way the gaskets and seals are packed. In other kits I have used they are nicely organized in little bags according to what drum they belong to. These gaskets are just thrown all in there. No inventory sheet, no description, nothing. So don't tear those gaskets up taking them off because you'll be trying to match sizes. Another thing that just bugged me a little; the video at the bottom that covers all of the components in the kit mentions new check balls because "the old ones can be worn or damaged". Nope. No check balls. So keep GOOD track of the ones you pull out, or your build will come to a stop FAST. On a good note, costumer service has been great. Monster has been quick to reply, and aim to be as helpful as possible when they do. So if you're having order issues, give them a call. They'll take care of you. Remember, everybody screws up sometimes, taking responsibility to right the wrongs is where it really counts. Bottom line, I'd probably come back and buy more parts. Pretty fair price. Good quality, great costumer service.

I wanted to thank Monster Transmission for the kit they sent me. I ordered the Monster rebuild kit for my 700R4. I rebuilt it myself. And it's worked perfectly, I haven't had one problem with it and put about 10,000 miles on it. It shifts fine and everything. Highly recommend it to anybody. Awesome transmission and thanks.
