4L65E Transmission Rebuild Kit, SS Monster-In-A-Box: 1998-02 Top Product

I purchased a Monster In A Box for a 4L60E. I have a 1999 Chevy S10 pickup that has a V8 in it. This is the transmission that I put behind it and everything seems to work perfectly fine. I haven't broken the transmission yet. So, we're going to keep on running and hopefully we are going to keep on buying parts from Monster Transmission for our next vehicles. Thank you, bye.

I ordered a Monster in a Box for a 1998 Chevrolet pickup truck. My son blew the teeth out of my sunshell and we ended up getting a Monster in a Box for a 4L60E, the beast sunshell and a new sungear. I got all of the books for you guys and the seal installers. We did a fantastic job. The truck is running and the kit is just beating the snot out of it. I love the shift kit that we put in and I am absolutely pleased with the job that we did with it. I talked to Josh and he is actually setting me up for my next transmission which is going to be a 4L80E. This will be a unique combination because I have a whipple super charger on a 454. I drive a 1999 GMC Yukon. I have worked on cars and motorcycles for 10 years. Mostly general repair and maintenance and many high mileage engine overhauls. The transmission on my daily driver finally gave out after 150,000 miles of my aggressive driving. I knew this was the perfect time to beef up my trans and fix some of the problems the 4L60E always had. So I hopped online and quickly found Monstertrans.com and found all of the answers to all of my problems in one awesome kit. I bought the rebuild kit, a case of fluid and a bottle of trans flush. A couple of days later my trans was down off my car cleaned, and ready to crack into and the kit I had ordered was at my door. Not only did it arrive quickly, but MAN was I impressed by the completeness of this kit and the quality of the parts in it. Seeing as this was my first automatic transmission rebuild, I made sure to also buy gold trans gel, a bushing ket, and an instructional DVD so that I wouldn''t get anything wrong. The repair went very smoothly and the kit did not lack any parts. In fact, there were a few duplicate O rings. I now have 5,000 miles on my rebuild and the shifts a quick, firm, and smooth. I also now have lockup back, something that I could tell I had lost a while ago. One recommendation though, run the trans without the motor adjustments, as suggested in the instructions. With all the other shift improvements, the adjustment was not necessary, especially in an SUV, where the shifts, if too firm, can be jarring. I would definitely reccommend this company and their products to anyone willing to take on an auto trans rebuild and I will only use their kits for future rebuilds when my friends and family come asking.
