The 200-4R External Lock-up Kit
This kit will enable the driver to control the operation of the torque converter Lock-up. The switch will allow driver to turn the lock-up function off during in-town driving and on during high speed/highway driving. When switch is on the transmission will not engage into lock-up until transmission is in 4th gear. Transmission will automatically disengage lock-up switch when it down shifts to 3rd gear and re-engage when transmission shifts back to 4th gear. This kit is an external wired kit, no need to drop pan for installation.

How to Install a 200 4R External Monster Transmission Lockup Kit.

I've installed a 2004R Transmission in my 1962 Impala. I had ordered from Monster Transmission a torque converter lockup wiring kit and pressure switch. That's just great. And now I'm getting the proper bracket-try for putting the TV Cable to the carb. There's a bracket on the carb and on the manifold that holds the end of the TV cable. Monster Transmission has these little pieces that otherwise I'd be spending a lot of time trying to make. So, that's just great. Thanks very much.

I ordered the 200-4R external lock-up kit from Monster and it arrived with in a few days. I am in the process of doing a complete over haul on the transmission now and have not yet gotten an chance to use the kit however; it appears to be well put together with great instructions. I will update once the transmission is finished
